The Malaysia-America Foundation (MAF) is a non-profit, non-partisan and bi-national NGO, chartered in Washington, D.C., and Kuala Lumpur, which is dedicated to enhancing people-to-people ties and mutual understanding among the Malaysian and American people and policy-makers.

Internships and exchange programs to deepen business relations, student and young professional interchange, and short -term academic research
Events for Malaysia and American policy leaders, annual achievement awards, and enhancement of Malaysia-America Society programs in the United States.
Collaboration with leading think tanks, business organizations, and other institutions in Malaysia and the United States
Travel grants and research studies
Promoting information flows to legislative bodies, think tanks, and policy institutions in both countries
The Foundation is an IRS Sec. U.S. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and is registered in Malaysia as a non-profit organization. Contributions are sought from American and Malaysian businesses, foundations, and individuals. MAF will provide verification of all corporate or individual contributions for the current year. Multi-year pledges of financial contributions are encouraged to help provide continuous support for Foundation initiatives in years to come.
